- Behaviour has improved significantly with suspensions falling sharply, creating calm and orderly classrooms with respectful relationships
- Excellent progress for disadvantaged pupils, with attainment 8 and progress 8 scores now close to national averages for disadvantaged peers
- Strong inclusion provision with well-matched support for pupils with barriers to learning and effective use of external agencies
- Effective curriculum design with clear teaching routines and consistent methods that help pupils learn well

- Pupils' achievements in mathematics and science are not as consistently secure as in other subjects like English and creative subjects
