What This School Does Well
Temple Meadow has made excellent progress in improving teaching and pupil achievement. Children get off to a good start in Early Years, and the school has successfully helped disadvantaged pupils and those with special needs catch up and succeed. Teachers work hard to engage pupils and make learning exciting.

- Disabled pupils and those with special educational needs now make good progress with specialist support
Areas for Improvement
- Not enough teaching is outstanding - some lessons have slow pace with pupils given too long on tasks
- Teachers need better questioning skills to challenge pupils to think deeply about their learning
- Teachers should make clearer how pupils can improve their work through lessons and marking
- Limited access to computers in classrooms for pupils
