From the headteacher's welcome: "Year 1 had a wonderful time at Battersea Park Children’s Zoo! The day included an interactive workshop, a guided tour of the animals and time to explore the exciting play area, featuring a real-life fire engine, helicopter and tractor. During the ‘Food for Thought’ workshop, the children explored animal diets, identifying carnivores, omnivores and herbivores."
