From the headteacher's welcome: "Blenheim is a dynamic, innovative and supportive secondary school which opened in September 1997 with one year group and has grown to its current size of over 1400 students on roll including c. 200 in the Sixth Form. Blenheim is a mixed comprehensive academy and in the recent past has become very popular."

Clubs and activities named on the school's website include football, drama, debating and Duke of Edinburgh.
