The Flagship School excels at building trusting relationships with pupils and providing the support they need to re-engage with education. Staff work hard to remove barriers to learning through a carefully planned curriculum tailored to individual needs. - Effective inclusive practice with thorough identification of pupil needs and appropriate adaptations to teaching
- Well-planned careers education that helps older pupils feel informed and aspirational about their post-16 choices
- Successful attendance work using individual strategies to support pupils who have previously had very low attendance
- Rich enrichment opportunities including sports, music, art, Duke of Edinburgh's Award and community-based activities

- Knowledge of themes such as democracy is less well developed in personal development lessons
