Royton Hall is a caring school where children are polite, well-behaved and concentrate well on their learning. The school has worked hard to improve support for children with additional needs, and all pupils benefit from an ambitious curriculum with high expectations. Children also enjoy trips and visits, including overnight residentials, which enrich their learning.

- Strong phonics teaching with well-trained staff and effective support for struggling readers
