What This School Does Well
Oxford Road Community School creates a warm, nurturing environment where children feel safe and happy. The school excels at teaching reading from the earliest years, with all staff trained to teach phonics skilfully. Pupils benefit from a ambitious, well-sequenced curriculum that includes wonderful enrichment opportunities, and the school provides excellent support for all learners including those with special educational needs.
