In its own words: "Overstone Combined School offers everyone a stimulating, happy and caring environment. Our vision is to enable children to grasp opportunities and enjoy a lifelong love of learning. From the headteacher's welcome: "Overstone's Governing body is a dedicated group of volunteers who meet regularly to share in the leadership and management of our school and resources. The school runs after-school care.

In 2025, 53% of Year 6 pupils at Overstone Combined School reached the expected standard in reading and 59% in maths. At the average state primary the figures were 81% and 77% in Buckinghamshire and 77% and 75% across England.

Results fell from 66% in reading and 59% in maths in 2024.

48 parents answered Ofsted's Parent View survey about Overstone Combined School (as of September 2025): 69% would recommend the school, 85% say their child is happy there and 39% of those with a view say bullying is dealt with well.

The strongest agreement was that their child feels safe (92%); the weakest, that the school deals with bullying well (among parents with a view) (39%).

2.2% speak English as an additional language, against 18.8% on average, according to the 2026 school census.

In 2026, 23 pupils (12.8%) received SEN support and 5 (2.8%) had an education, health and care plan, against 16.2% and 4.6% at the average state school. The most common need among them is social, emotional and mental health needs.
