Maryland Primary School excels at creating a warm, respectful environment where children love to learn and feel safe. Reading is taught brilliantly through well-trained staff using phonics, with pupils given books matched to their level and regular access to diverse reading materials. The school goes beyond academics to develop amazing people - pupils take on real responsibilities like caring for school chickens, and the school's values of resilience, teamwork and respect are embedded throughout everything they do.
