Manor Junior School excels at creating a nurturing community where pupils feel safe and belong. Teachers are skilled at teaching reading and phonics, providing targeted support to help struggling readers catch up. The school enriches learning through visits and experiences - such as history trips to bring crime and punishment to life - and offers excellent extra-curricular activities including residential visits that build confidence and independence.

- Warm, supportive learning environment with very strong adult-pupil relationships that foster a deep sense of safety and belonging
- Strong teaching in phonics and reading with extra help for pupils who fall behind, plus exposure to diverse authors and types of writing
