In its own words: "At Long Road, we share a passion for learning and its capacity to transform lives; our goal is to empower you to fulfil your unique potential and inspire you to make a positive difference in the world. We know that moving from school to college is a big change: a new campus, new faces and a new level of independence."
From the headteacher's welcome: "I am delighted that you are considering joining Long Road Sixth Form College. We are a friendly, inclusive college, and we will welcome you into our community from the moment you make an application to study with us. We understand that the move from school can sometimes feel a little daunting."

What This School Does Well
Long Road is a welcoming and inclusive college where students thrive in a supportive environment with excellent staff role models. Teachers are subject specialists who use effective teaching methods and helpful resources to help students quickly gain knowledge and skills. The college provides outstanding support for students with high needs, helping them make excellent progress and achieve exceptionally well.
