Teachers are highly valued by pupils and have created a caring, joyful environment where children feel happy and safe. The school has made reading a real priority with excellent results - almost all pupils are confident, fluent readers by Year 2. The school does excellent work supporting pupils with additional needs, carefully checking their progress and adapting learning so they achieve well across all subjects.
