In its own words: "Balshaw Lane Primary School is a community primary school in Euxton, near Chorley, Lancashire. We are located on Balshaw Lane with access to the school via Bredon Avenue. We take up to 60 pupils into Reception each year in two straight-age classes."

From the headteacher's welcome: "I am delighted to welcome you to our school. We are a warm and friendly school with a great family atmosphere. We constantly strive for high academic standards whilst also nurturing the children's creativity and skills for life."
