From Ofsted's March 2025 inspection report.

What This School Does Well

Your Ideas School excels at supporting pupils with emotional and behavioural needs through calm, consistent routines and highly trained staff. The school has achieved remarkable improvements in attendance and pupil attitudes after many children had struggled elsewhere. Staff tailor teaching to individual needs and create a culture where every pupil feels safe, valued and happy.

Key Strengths

  • Strong therapeutic and behavioural support that helps pupils manage emotions and improve attendance significantly
  • Daily focus on reading and mathematics with well-taught phonics to help pupils catch up on missed learning
  • Kind, patient staff who work as a cohesive team and create a calm, supportive environment
  • Broad curriculum including weekly physical education and swimming lessons
  • Excellent safeguarding arrangements with frequent staff training and thorough checks on adult suitability
