Achievement - Expected standard. "Pupils make secure progress from their starting points, reflecting the positive impact of leaders' work."

Curriculum and teaching - Expected standard. "Leaders have an accurate understanding of the quality of the curriculum and teaching."

Leadership and governance - Expected standard. "Leadership at all levels is reflective, strategic and firmly focused on securing high-quality specialist provision so that all pupils can thrive."

Safeguarding standards were met.

Ofsted's next steps for the school: "Leaders should refine curriculum sequencing and sharpen assessment criteria so that the small steps in pupils' learning are identified, captured and used to inform teaching".

The vast majority of our pupils have communication and interaction needs. We pride ourselves on being a highly-skilled staff with expertise in managing a broad spectrum of special educational needs."
