What This School Does Well

Webber's is a welcoming, happy school where children feel safe and supported by staff who know them well. Areas for Improvement

  • Inconsistent teaching quality across some curriculum subjects, with activities not always matching what pupils need to learn
  • Assessment processes do not reliably identify gaps in pupils' knowledge
  • Low expectations for written work - grammatical and spelling errors are not corrected
  • Some staff lack subject knowledge to teach the curriculum as intended
  • Writing standards need improvement across all subjects

Safeguarding

The arrangements for safeguarding are effective.
