  • High-quality resources including realistic working environments (motor vehicle workshop with real clients, land-based animals)

  • Some learners who would benefit from external work experience placements do not have access to them
  • Subcontracted hairdressing and beauty provision does not fully embed standard industry practices (e.g. safe scissor handling)
  • Personal development programme at subcontractor site needs strengthening to match quality at main site
