Personal development and wellbeing - Expected standard. "There is a well-designed personal, social and health education programme."

Post 16 provision - Expected standard. "The school operates an inclusive sixth form that offers a broad range of A-level subjects alongside Level 3 vocational qualifications."

Safeguarding standards were met.

From the headteacher's welcome: "The school was established by the Society of Jesus (The Jesuits) with a strong sense of community and a rich history. St Edmund Campion is one of the most famous English Jesuits who was martyred for his faith in 1581. Faith, and leading a life that is faithful, threads through all that we do in school life."

In 2026, pupils at The Campion School averaged an Attainment 8 score of 56.8, the average grade across their best eight GCSEs. The average state school scored 48.5 in Havering and 47 across England.

69% passed English and maths at grade 5 or above, against 50% in Havering and 47% in England.

That is up from 52.8 in 2025.

Its most recent Progress 8 score, for 2024, was 0.6: pupils made well above average progress compared with pupils nationally who started secondary school at the same level. Progress 8 was not published for 2026.

Disadvantaged pupils averaged an Attainment 8 of 50.4, against 57.7 for other pupils at the school - a gap of 7.3 points.

Pupils sat GCSEs in 19 subjects; after English and maths, the most popular were Religious Studies, French and Business Studies.

For September 2026 entry, 162 families put The Campion School as their first choice and 453 named it as one of their preferences, for 147 places offered. That is 1.1 first choices for every place. 41 families who put it first were not offered a place there.
