Ofsted's next steps for the school: "• Leaders should continue to support older pupils who have not benefited from the improved writing curriculum over time to address gaps in their spelling knowledge to ensure that an increased proportion of pupils achieve more highly. • Leaders should further support staff to check that, in some wider curriculum subjects, pupils have secured their prior knowledge before introducing new concepts and learning so that pupils' new learning successfully builds on what they already know".
