From the headteacher's welcome: "St Nicholas is a voluntary-aided one form entry primary and nursery school, with strong links to the parish church of St Andrew and St George's within the Diocese of St Albans. The children attend the church regularly and the church team leads Collective Worship in school."

The school runs a breakfast club from 7:40am and after-school care.
