In its own words: "St John’s RC Primary School is a Voluntary Aided school in the Salford Diocese and is situated on the outskirts of Burnley near to Burnley General hospital. We became a Voluntary Academy in December 2019, joining the Romero Catholic Academy Trust. We cater for children who live in the Burnley area between the ages of four and eleven."

The school runs a breakfast club from 8:00am, from £2.50 per day.
