The school excels at supporting young children in the Early Years, with pupils making excellent progress from starting points well below expected levels. Pupils benefit from strong pastoral care and feel safe and supported, particularly vulnerable children. The school maintains a broad, rich curriculum that prepares pupils well for life while also using specialist coaches and sports funding to develop wellbeing and participation in competitive sporting activities.

Areas for Improvement
- Too few pupils make expected progress in reading, writing and mathematics by the end of Key Stage 2
