In its own words: "During the Summer Term 2023, the school leaders started to refresh and streamline our School's Christian Vision. We met with all the staff, the Governors, parents and carers and spoke with representatives from the School Council too. We thought about what are the most important things we wanted OUR school to share with OUR pupils, their families and our community."

From the headteacher's welcome: "Here at St Thomas' Church of England Primary School we are well known for our caring, family atmosphere. We are a one form entry school - this means we know our pupils, parents, carers and families well. We truly are a family school."

Clubs and activities named on the school's website include football, netball, dance, choir, ukulele, chess, coding, Lego, STEM and cooking.

The school runs a breakfast club from 7:30am and after-school care until 5:16pm.

In 2025, 81% of Year 6 pupils at St Annes on Sea St Thomas' Church of England Primary School reached the expected standard in reading and 81% in maths. At the average state primary the figures were 75% and 74% in Lancashire and 77% and 75% across England.

Results rose from 77% in reading and 73% in maths in 2024.
