In its own words: "To establish the North West of England Centre of Excellence in Sp.L.D. (Dyslexia), including working in partnership with the associated LEAs and parents/carers, providing a unique local resource for Sp.L.D. provision in terms of specialist teaching, teacher training and research and development."
From the headteacher's welcome: "I am pleased to welcome you on behalf of the Directors, staff and students of Red Rose School. The school has now been established for over twenty five years. During this time students have continued to come from a background of struggling to thrive within mainstream school settings."
