Ryde School with Upper Chine in detail

Ryde School with Upper Chine in its own words

In its own words: "The School moved to its current location in Ryde in 1928 and the grounds expanded with additional buildings and land over the years with sports facilities at Smallbrook. The School now occupies over 17 acres overlooking the Solent. The motto 'UT PROSIM' (that I may be of service) has guided the school ethos since its introduction in 1921."

From the headteacher's welcome: "The heart of the Ryde educational experience is shown in the Ryde School crest. The torch that symbolises knowledge, learning through experience and exploration, not just books. The three stars for body, mind and soul which represent physical, mental and spiritual learning."
