Pupils develop increasing ownership of their learning through clear goals, which improves their engagement, confidence and independence. They respond well to flexible and personalised approaches that help them overcome barriers. As a result, pupils achieve steadily across a broad curriculum, including GCSE and vocational pathways, and are well prepared for their next steps in education, employment or training. Pupils feel safe and valued in a caring and nurturing school community. Strong, respectful relationships with staff and peers help pupils to feel understood and supported. Pupils enjoy their learning and participate fully in lessons and wider school life, including enrichment activities and leadership opportunities.
