Ofsted's report card from its 9 June 2026 inspection grades Rodborough on 6 areas: 6 expected standard. Report cards replaced single-word judgements in November 2025, on a five-point scale from exceptional to urgent improvement.

Personal development and wellbeing - Expected standard. "Leaders have developed a personal development and wellbeing programme that meets the needs of pupils."

Safeguarding standards were met.

Ofsted's next steps for the school: "Leaders should ensure that the improvements that have been made in teaching are embedded across the curriculum so that all pupils can achieve well"; "Leaders should continue their work to secure consistently high attendance for pupils, including those who are disadvantaged"; "Leaders should ensure that a systematic phonics programme is fully embedded for those few pupils who require phonics teaching, so that they build their reading fluency".

In 2026, pupils at Rodborough averaged an Attainment 8 score of 54.7, the average grade across their best eight GCSEs. The average state school scored 50.8 in Surrey and 47 across England.

65% passed English and maths at grade 5 or above, against 54% in Surrey and 47% in England.

That is up from 53.4 in 2025.

Pupils sat GCSEs in 24 subjects; after English and maths, the most popular were Combined Science, Geography and Physical Education.

For September 2026 entry, 162 families put Rodborough as their first choice and 397 named it as one of their preferences, for 197 places offered. It had fewer first-choice applications than places. 4 families who put it first were not offered a place there.

The nearest other state secondary schools to Rodborough are Broadwater School (3.6 miles, Attainment 8 55.3); and Woolmer Hill School (6.5 miles, Good, Attainment 8 58.9).

Each of them had higher 2026 results than Rodborough.

Rodborough is one of 18 schools run by Weydon Multi Academy Trust, an academy trust.
