Priory School in detail

Priory School in its own words

In its own words: "I began my own journey with Priory School on 1st September 2025. As a teacher and author of history, I am deeply conscious of the school’s history, traditions, and founding principles-and will combine respect for those pillars while writing a new chapter that ensures the school adapts for the times in which we live."

From the headteacher's welcome: "It is both an honour and a privilege to lead Priory School alongside a team of immensely talented, dedicated and caring professionals who take seriously the responsibility of preparing our students to thrive in the modern world. Our teaching philosophy is simple: no child should experience excellent teaching by chance; they should experience it by design."

Clubs and activities named on the school's website include football, netball, rugby, cricket, tennis, athletics, basketball, swimming, dance and ballet.
