This is a caring, inclusive school where every child feels welcomed and safe. Staff build strong relationships with families and provide excellent support for pupils with additional needs. The school creates exciting experiences for pupils through clubs, trips and special events, and actively removes barriers to help all pupils participate.

- Overall achievement is too low, especially for disadvantaged pupils
- Curriculum is not being taught consistently, so pupils have gaps in their knowledge
- Too many children do not reach expected levels in reading, writing and numeracy by end of Reception
- Pupils do not persist with difficult tasks and sometimes need refocusing
- Attendance needs improvement despite school's efforts
