Nottingham College takes student welfare seriously with a clear attendance policy and regular welfare checks when students are absent. The college responded decisively to a safeguarding incident by investigating thoroughly and providing additional staff training. Leaders have developed a new system to better identify and flag attendance concerns that may indicate safeguarding risks.
