What This School Does Well
Northfield has made excellent progress since its previous inspection, particularly in reading where all pupils learn phonics consistently and books are matched to their level. The school creates a supportive environment where children feel safe, behaviour is managed well, and pupils with additional needs receive tailored support to help them succeed. Teachers explain new learning clearly and use regular recap activities to help pupils remember what they've learned.
