From the headteacher's welcome: "Newfield Primary School is a welcoming school community, where there is a strong emphasis on caring for, supporting and listening to pupils. The pupils at Newfield are happy and enthusiastic and have a natural love of learning. Our principle aim is to enable all pupils to learn and to reach their full potential throughout their time at the school."

The school runs a breakfast club from 8:00am and after-school care.
