Moss Hey is a welcoming school where children thrive and make good progress. Teachers create interesting lessons that help pupils enjoy learning, with particularly strong reading progress thanks to excellent phonics teaching. The headteacher has made significant improvements, raising standards quickly and creating a school where pupils are keen to attend and behave well.
