What This School Does Well
Millhouse Primary is a very inclusive school where pupils are happy and supported to be kind to each other. Reading is a real strength, with a wonderful selection of books and adults who read to children regularly. The school offers an ambitious curriculum that helps children understand how their learning prepares them for the future, and there are lots of chances for pupils to develop leadership skills and explore their interests.

- Excellent behaviour and attitudes supported by clear golden rules and exceptional support for pupils who struggle - bullying almost never happens
- Strong focus on reading with high-quality books, trained staff, and pupil librarians helping peers choose appropriate texts
- Inclusive approach to SEND, with school removing barriers and ensuring all staff have expertise to support these pupils
- Many leadership opportunities for pupils including head boy/girl and dinner monitors
- Well-trained staff who feel supported and valued
