Areas for Improvement
- Some teaching activities do not enable pupils to delve deeper and extend their thinking enough
- Checks on pupils' understanding are sometimes not sharp or consistently used, leading to gaps in knowledge
- Need greater consistency in how the ambitious curriculum is delivered and adapted by staff
