Leadership and governance - Expected standard. "Leaders and governors have a detailed understanding of their school and the community it serves."

Personal development and wellbeing - Expected standard. "Leaders have a clear and inclusive vision."

Safeguarding standards were met.

Ofsted's next steps for the school: "Leaders should continue to embed the recent changes made to the curriculum and its teaching in some subjects to ensure that gaps in pupils' knowledge are closed more rapidly across each subject area"; "Leaders should continue their work to ensure that pupils' attendance improves further and persistent absence decreases, including ensuring that improvement is rapid and strategies are adjusted swiftly when necessary".

Our school serves a richly diverse area and reflects the many cultures, languages and experiences of the children and families who learn with us every day. This diversity is one of our greatest strengths."

The school runs a breakfast club from 7:45am and after-school care until 4:30pm, from £5.00 per session.

In 2025, 63% of Year 6 pupils at Marriott Primary School reached the expected standard in reading and 47% in maths. At the average state primary the figures were 74% and 75% in Leicester and 77% and 75% across England.

Results fell from 61% in reading and 63% in maths in 2024.

For September 2026 entry, 50 families put Marriott Primary School as their first choice and 60 named it as one of their preferences, for 51 places offered. It had fewer first-choice applications than places. Every family who put it first was offered a place there for 2026 entry.
