Attendance and behaviour - Needs attention. "Overall, pupils enjoy coming to school and attend well."

Leadership and governance - Urgent improvement. "In recent months, some aspects of the school's work have been found to not meet statutory requirements."

In 2026, pupils at Kingsmead School averaged an Attainment 8 score of 49.1, the average grade across their best eight GCSEs. The average state school scored 47.5 in Enfield and 47 across England.

47% passed English and maths at grade 5 or above, against 47% in Enfield and 47% in England.

Pupils sat GCSEs in 25 subjects; after English and maths, the most popular were Religious Studies, Combined Science and Geography.

For September 2026 entry, 232 families put Kingsmead School as their first choice and 846 named it as one of their preferences, for 279 places offered. It had fewer first-choice applications than places. 19 families who put it first were not offered a place there.
