Kingfisher is a welcoming school where children love learning and are supported to achieve well. Teachers are skilled at explaining new ideas and connecting them to what pupils already know, while also checking understanding and adapting teaching. The school creates a strong community feel, with pupils learning to be responsible citizens through activities like food bank collections and litter picking, and celebrating different cultures and faiths.
