- Teaching is outstanding with clear explanations so pupils know what to do and how to succeed
- Pupils' behaviour is exemplary with high levels of interest in learning and concentration in lessons
- Pupils from different groups achieve equally well, with disabled pupils and those with special educational needs making rapid progress
- The curriculum is exceptionally rich, enhanced by visitors and trips that embed learning and generate excitement
- Leaders effectively use pupil premium funding to help disadvantaged pupils make rapid progress and narrow gaps with classmates
Areas for Improvement
- Early years leaders do not analyse children's progress as rigorously as in the rest of the school, so the most-able children do not always make rapid progress
