We have been serving the community as a Primary School since January 2013 and before that as Infant and Junior Schools since 1980. At Hollinswood, we pride ourselves on being a welcoming and friendly school."

Hollinswood provides a caring, inclusive environment where children develop strong reading skills through expert phonics teaching and benefit from exceptional music opportunities. The school excels at supporting pupils with additional needs and creates a broad curriculum enriched with visits, clubs and practical activities that bring learning to life.
Key Strengths
- Strong phonics teaching with skilled staff who match books to pupils' reading level and provide daily extra support where needed
- Excellent music programme with all Year 2-6 pupils learning instruments and many performing in orchestras including with the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire
