- Exceptional work on attendance - staff identify and address barriers, resulting in significant improvements for pupils with poor attendance histories
- Strong inclusive culture with individualised support tailored to each pupil's needs
- Excellent behaviour and conduct - pupils respond well to high expectations and the school creates a calm, purposeful atmosphere
- Comprehensive personal development programme including careers guidance, work experience, and community engagement
- Staff receive high-quality training and support with strong focus on wellbeing
Areas for Improvement
- Quality of pupils' written work is inconsistent and doesn't match their oral descriptions of learning
- Some pupils lack foundational writing skills such as letter formation and writing fluently
- Teachers' in-lesson checks on learning are sometimes ineffective, meaning errors and knowledge gaps aren't always addressed before moving to new content
