Greenfields is a warm, welcoming place where children thrive emotionally and develop strong reading skills from an early age. The school is particularly excellent at supporting children with additional needs, adapting teaching so they progress alongside their peers. Staff genuinely care about wellbeing, creating a calm, respectful environment where all children feel confident to learn.

Key Strengths

  • Strong emphasis on reading with effective phonics instruction from early years - pupils develop confidence and fluency quickly
  • Excellent provision for pupils with SEND - staff identify needs swiftly and adapt teaching so all pupils progress through the curriculum
  • Warm, inclusive school culture with a clear focus on perseverance and kindness - pupils behave well and feel safe
  • Strong early years provision - two-year-olds develop language skills and confidence with well-planned activities
  • Good leadership with clear ambition for the school and genuine care for staff wellbeing
