Great Moor Infant School creates a happy, safe place where children enjoy coming to school and are treated with care and respect. The school excels at teaching reading through a highly skilled phonics programme, with most pupils becoming fluent and confident readers by Year 2. Children benefit from a well-thought-out curriculum that builds their knowledge securely, supported by strong teaching and regular checks on their understanding.
