Ofsted's next steps for the school: "• Leaders should further improve attendance by working closely with families and providing targeted support for pupils, particularly those who are disadvantaged, so that they can access the full curriculum and achieve well. • Leaders should address inconsistencies in teaching and strengthen pupils' foundational skills in handwriting and spelling. They should ensure that pupils have regular opportunities to apply these skills in writing across the curriculum so that they make strong progress".

In its own words: "We invited parents and carers to complete a survey asking key questions to help us create a shared identity and a set of aims and values we could all believe in and work towards. At the same time, we asked the same questions of governors, pupils and our staff. The same themes came up time and time again."
