Post 16 provision - Expected standard. "Published data shows that, in the past, students' achievement in the post-16 provision was weak."

Safeguarding standards were met.

From the headteacher's welcome: "We offer a broad curriculum which has a focus on academic and vocational subjects from A Levels to BTEC, diplomas and OCR Nationals. Students are able to combine a selection of these qualifications in order to enhance their chances of academic and employment success, whilst making the most of their individual skills and talents."

In 2026, pupils at E-ACT North Birmingham Academy averaged an Attainment 8 score of 44.2, the average grade across their best eight GCSEs. The average state school scored 47.5 in Birmingham and 47 across England.

41% passed English and maths at grade 5 or above, against 49% in Birmingham and 47% in England.

For September 2026 entry, 188 families put E-ACT North Birmingham Academy as their first choice and 578 named it as one of their preferences, for 237 places offered. It had fewer first-choice applications than places. 10 families who put it first were not offered a place there.

In 2026, 173 pupils (14.8%) received SEN support and 7 (0.6%) had an education, health and care plan, against 16.2% and 4.6% at the average state school. The most common need among them is social, emotional and mental health needs.
