From the headteacher's welcome: "Burton End first opened as a Community Primary School in 1968 and since then has undergone changes to cater for the full age range of children from 3 to 11. Our school has a well equipped 48 place Nursery. Burton End converted to become an academy in November 2004 and are proud members of Unity Schools Partnership."

The school runs a breakfast club from 7:30am and after-school care until 5:45pm, from £5 per session.
