Barrington Primary School creates a happy, supportive environment where children thrive both academically and personally. Teachers explain concepts clearly and help pupils build on their learning, resulting in above-average outcomes at the end of primary school. The school goes beyond academics by giving pupils leadership opportunities and enriching experiences that build confidence and citizenship.

Key Strengths

  • Strong teaching across early reading and mathematics with clear explanations and regular practice opportunities
  • Very effective support for pupils with SEND, including the specialist Talking Base provision
  • Engaging, broad and ambitious curriculum that is regularly reviewed and improved
