ALP Leicester excels at creating a warm, inclusive environment where every pupil receives personalised support tailored to their needs. The school has excellent expectations for what pupils can achieve and equips them well for their futures through work experience and career links woven throughout the curriculum. Pupils' personal development is a real strength, with high-quality pastoral support and enriching experiences including residential trips and outdoor activities.

- Highly personalised support based on deep knowledge of each pupil's needs and EHC plans
- Strong focus on reading with pupils accessing matched phonics books and frequent reading opportunities across the curriculum
- Comprehensive personal development curriculum including PSHE, online safety, visits to places of worship and inclusive attitudes towards diversity
- Well-designed, broad and balanced curriculum with functional skills and vocational qualifications to prepare pupils for adulthood
- Caring, skilled staff team that helps pupils feel safe and supported
