Worple Primary School is improving rapidly under determined leadership that sets high expectations for all pupils. Teaching quality has improved dramatically, especially in mathematics, and pupils are making much better progress in their learning. The school has introduced excellent systems for marking work and helping pupils understand their targets, with strong communication between teachers and pupils about next steps.

Worple Primary School was judged to require improvement in March 2013 and this monitoring visit (July 2013) found the school is improving rapidly under effective leadership. Pupils are making significantly better progress, particularly in reading, writing, mathematics, and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
