Safeguarding standards were met.

The school runs a breakfast club from 7:45am and after-school care.

In 2025, 60% of Year 6 pupils at Wood Ley Community Primary School reached the expected standard in reading and 76% in maths. At the average state primary the figures were 75% and 72% in Suffolk and 77% and 75% across England.

Results fell from 71% in reading and 76% in maths in 2024.

For September 2026 entry, 54 families put Wood Ley Community Primary School as their first choice and 108 named it as one of their preferences, for 42 places offered. That is 1.3 first choices for every place. 13 families who put it first were not offered a place there.
